{"id":10119,"date":"2016-05-15T09:10:16","date_gmt":"2016-05-15T06:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dizainosavaite.lt\/designovation-lt-expositions\/"},"modified":"2023-03-24T10:48:55","modified_gmt":"2023-03-24T07:48:55","slug":"designovation-lt-expositions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dizainosavaite.lt\/en\/designovation-lt-expositions\/","title":{"rendered":"DESIGNOVATION.LT expositions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Project designovation.lt is one of the most important parts of DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA where we kindly invite young designers to present their latest work in the windows of shops or cafes located in the main streets of the cities.<\/p>\n<p>Windows participating in the project are marked with the special DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA band and included in the official programme of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016 these works and many more were presented:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Armchairs with birds <em>Bullfinch<\/em> and <em>Tit<\/em> (designer: Agn\u0117 Ki\u0161onait\u0117)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After creating a collection of carpets with Lithuanian birds\u2019 illustrations, I continue to\u00a0include them into other design projects. This time linen handmade carpets were used\u00a0to decorate the backs of Lithuanian armchairs. The idea itself, design of the carpet,\u00a0colour palette \u2013 were all chosen by me. Linen carpets were hand-woven by <em>EcoLinum<\/em>,\u00a0armchairs from Lithuanian oak were produced by company <em>Katwood<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1806 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/6-2-min-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"980\" height=\"654\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Phoceramics<\/em> (designer: Audron\u0117 Da\u010dkut\u0117)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Phoceramics<\/em> \u2013 is the place, where cute animated animals and people live, and growing trees and berries turn into a piece of jewellery or small home decorations. It is the forest, where graze unseen animals, and the nature turns into different colours, and sometimes it happens in the city.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-909 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/MG_7752_web-1024x925.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"980\" height=\"885\" \/><strong><br \/>\nUrban wool story by <em>CITYSHEEP<\/em>\u00a0(designer: Dominyka Murauskien\u0117)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our accessories are intended for you \u2013 active, free and curious people, open to novelties and a little wild. That\u2019s why we focus our efforts on life facilitating functionality, world saving beauty and pure authenticity. Every item of <em>CitySheep<\/em>\u00a0is a distinctive creation made of natural materials and inspired by minimalism and urban aesthetics.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-914 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/MG_6153-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"980\" height=\"654\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Collection <em>Architecture of Mug<\/em>\u00a0(designer: Paulius Vitkauskas)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collection <em>Architecture of Mug<\/em> &#8211; functional ceramic handmade cups (mugs). Masculine yet delicate texture. Materials (chamotte clay coated with mat glaze), colours and textures create outlines of concrete, stone or metal impression. Two basic shapes of cylindrical and trapezium. The distinctive feature \u2013 different, unique handles \u2013 resemble architectural elements.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-925 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/PV_ceramic_cups_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"886\" height=\"641\" \/><strong><br \/>\n<em>LESSISMORE<\/em>\u00a0(designers: Milita Bal\u010daityt\u0117 and Elz\u0117 Sakalinskait\u0117)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collection of handbags-backpacks <em>Lessismore<\/em> is inspired by minimalist clean geometric shapes, different artificial skin textures, colours and shades. Design of handbags is purified and simplified in order to highlight form. Main function of this product is transformation: handbag easily turns into backpack. The exhibition presents photos of collection <em>Lessismore<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-917 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/foto-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Textile design\u00a0(Vilnius Academy of Arts\u2019 Textile Department)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vilnius Academy of Arts\u2019 Textile Department aims to educate artists of textile design, able to professionally and creatively develop mass production projects and unique design objects. Graduates are able to implement theoretical knowledge of technological process, become acquainted with contemporary trends of textile design and apply practical skills by creating interior textile (carpets and fabrics design projects) and costume design (fabrics art, fashion design \u00a0and accessories creative works).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-951 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/vizualizacija1_spaudai-1024x673.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"980\" height=\"644\" \/><strong><br \/>\nMagazine <em>K\u016aNAS MAG<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/kunasmag.lt\/\">K\u016bnas Mag<\/a><\/em>\u00a0is a digital magazine for moving and thinking bodies. The posters of the most memorable design solutions, pages and open photo shoots of the magazine will be exhibited during\u00a0<em>DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1959 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/13096017_1181965278490129_8897355826560067347_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"719\" \/><strong><br \/>\n<em>Milky Body<\/em>\u00a0(designer: Marija Puipait\u0117)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Milky body<\/em> is a tableware collection about designer\u2019s relation with the works and designer\u2019s presence in them. Within our works we give away part of ourselves. We give our intimacy for using.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1299 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0655-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"980\" height=\"980\" \/><strong><br \/>\n<em>NAKED BRUCE<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SS16 collection \u2013 a tribute to the intimacy and woman\u2019s body sensuality.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net\/v\/t1.0-9\/12814642_995923280495688_1965664322119510796_n.jpg?oh=72872843c903efdf18b6b95f29d26afe&amp;oe=58C91C08\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>RA SS16<\/em> (designer: Ramun\u0117 \u0160erm\u016bk\u0161nien\u0117)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This season RA is bringing warming spring breeze and simple femininity in women\u2019s closets. The S\/S collection is all about the layers. And they can come together really well \u2013 the transparent blouses and dresses show the beautiful blooming braletts and transparent chiffon tunics could be covered with colorful sweaters. The pants are of two types: the high wasted pants are perfect for going out or for evening wear and the mild leggings are for those, who prefer comfort and good taste.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dizainosavaite.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/RA-photoshoot0265.jpg\" alt=\"RA photoshoot0265\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Threesome<\/em> exhibition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lauryna Narkevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117 and Martyna Jovai\u0161ait\u0117 \u2013 two artists and photographers, who decided to create a new project, which is now called art studio Threesome. Studio presents small edition art works which are all around photography and graphic design. \u201cWe are not separating photography or design as two different areas \u2013 we are trying to connect both of them. We are interested in materiality.
