DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA 2025 POSTER COMPETITION REGULATIONS

1. General Provisions
1.1. The poster competition is organized by Lithuanian Design Associationas part of the annual Design Week Lithuania 2025 festival.
1.2. The competition aims to promote creative expression and professionalism in visual communication while interpreting the 2025 festival theme: #BALANCE.
1.3. The competition is open to all graphic designers, illustrators, and visual communication creators in Lithuania.
1.4. Design Week Lithuania is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and design culture aimed at spreading design ideas and strengthening the creative community. We believe that your unique perspective can significantly contribute to the success of the festival!

2. Participation Requirements
2.1. Submitted posters must be original works created specifically for this competition or previously unpublished works.
2.2. The posters must visually interpret the festival theme #BALANCE, expressed through form, color, composition, or concept.
2.3. Creative requirements:

  • The festival logo must be integrated into the poster in black, white, or Viva Magenta (#BE3455).
  • The festival date (June 2–8, 2025) must be included.
  • The poster must be signed with the author’s name or pseudonym.

3. Technical Requirements
3.1. Poster format:

  • Dimensions: 1185 x 1750 mm
  • Color model: CMYK
  • Resolution: 100 dpi
  • File formats: TIFF and PDF/X-1a (≤500 MB)

4. Submission Guidelines
4.1. Posters must be submitted by April 21, 2025, via email to info@dizainoforumas.lt.
4.2. The submission must include:

  • The author’s full name;
  • Contact details (email and phone number).

5. Evaluation and Awards
5.1. The posters will be evaluated by a professional jury composed of experts in design, visual communication, and art.
5.2. The jury will select 5 winning posters, which will be exhibited on public advertising stands in Vilnius during the festival.
5.3. All submitted posters will be showcased on the official Design Week Lithuania website.

6. Copyright and Other Provisions
6.1. By participating in the competition, the authors grant the organizers the right to use the submitted posters free of charge for festival communication, exhibitions, and advertising.
6.2. Participants are responsible for the originality of their work and any legal consequences regarding third-party copyright infringement.
6.3. The organizers reserve the right not to publish posters that may cause a conflict of interest or do not meet the competition requirements.
6.4. The organizers reserve the right to modify the competition conditions and will announce any changes publicly.
