DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA 2018 | Call for applications

May 7 – 13 already 13th edition of DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA festival will take place in order to gather together Lithuanian design community.

Till March 1st the festival is waiting for applications from various designers as well as companies that are willing to present their latest objects to creative and curious audience of DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA. As usually, the events of the festival will take place at six cities of Lithuania – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Telšiai and Anykščiai.

Festival is open for various participants: designers (product, graphic, fashion, textile, furniture, interior design professionals and amateurs), educational institutions, photographers, boutiques, brands, businesses, etc.

There are three main forms of participation.

D E S I G N E R ‘ S  W I N D O W 

Opportunity for young designers to showcase their designs in the windows of shops and cafes located in the city center. Duration of the exposition is 7 days.

The windows are distributed by the organiser, depending on the specifics of the exhibit and preferences of the participant.

DIZAINOVACIJA5-min

C O M M E R C I A L   E X P O S I T I O N 

Presentation of various companies that are selling design items or services. Expositions can be installed in windows as well as in showrooms. Duration of the exposition is 7 days.

E V E N T

Separate event organised by the participant (e.g. workshop, lecture, conference, opening evening, presentation, movie night, etc).

All the events and exhibitions will be included in the official program of the festival as well as provided with promotional material (festival sticker, leaflets, poster, etc).

Theme and color

It’s already a tradition, that our Facebook followers help us to choose the new color of the festival. In 2018 it is mustard yellow. What is more, the theme of this year is “spaces”.
