Lithuanian Design POPup

Lithuanian Design Forum in cooperation with shopping center Panorama on May 6 presented Lithuanian Design POPup show. The concept derived from exhibitions cycle DESIGN LITHUANIA which has already been showcased in many capitals of Europe (Helsinki, Stockholm, London, Budapest etc). This time organisers decided to present one of these exhibitions in their homeland during DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA festival.

During the POPup show visitors had a chance to check a great selection of Lithuanian design products, get an advice from design professionals and watch production process of some goods: Lithuanian carpets manufacturing process by EcoLinum and nautical knots binding specialities by Shkertik. Girls from Noema Paper House presented smart agends, Julia Janus – recent collections of women clothing and design studio INDI – unique lamps made from sustainable recycled paper. Some pieces of Lithuanian furniture were presented by young designers’ agent EMKO and local furniture manufacturer Sedes Regia. A little piece of nature into urban atmosphere of the shopping center was brought by Soiree and their plants compositions.
