New theme and the color

Save the date – the biggest design festival in Lithuania will be held on May 2-8, 2016! Events will take place in five cities of Lithuania – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Telšiai.

DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA is an annual event dedicated to the synthesis of insightful solutions, original ideas and professional performance while highlighting the values of good design. All the latest artwork, concepts and products are welcome to join the festival in various forms – special events, workshops, lectures, exhibitions. We would like to highlight, that various professionals and amateurs are welcome to present their works: designers (product, graphic, fashion, textile, furniture, interior), educational institutions, photographers, companies and all individuals who understand the importance of design.

When talking about the festival of 2016 there are some important changes to be mentioned. First of all, the color of DESIGN WEEK visual communication is changed to grapefruit orange. Thanks to our Facebook fans who helped us to choose this color! What is more, in 2016 the festival will have a special theme “Connections”. With this theme we want to highlight the huge impact that design can have on increasing the welfare of our country and also encourage artists to look for unusual ways to produce and present their works.

We kindly invite all designers and companies from foreign countries to become a part of our festival. The full programme will be announced soon.
